At the request of Tacoma Pierce County Health Department's Tacoma In Motion program, I am forwarding an invitation to a Community Walking Audit of Martin Luther King Junior Way.
Dan Burden, national expert on walkable communities, will lead a walking audit of MLK, Jr. Way and facilitate a discussion of how streets can be designed to support healthy and thriving communities. In addition, City staff will be present to discuss the City's draft Complete Streets Design Guidelines.
